Made Up Yokai: Water Ninja

It feels like ages ago since I drew my water ninja character. Although I’m still iffy at the exaggerated perspective, I’m satisfied with the lively composition. It’s really hard to foreshorten custom forms, as opposed to what I’ve learned in books and video tutorials. So his shoulder pad looks kind of off XD I’ll do better next time.

Welp, It’s about damn time I thought of a kinda-sorta-back story to him. He’s a Water Wheel Tsukumogami. I figured there are antique cook-ware that turn in to monks, why not turn a turbine in to Shinobi… Ok, I kid The monk Tsukumogami cookware probably stem from ingenious Japanese Pun and Wordplay. I just made this guy up on impulse :U
