Fan Art: What the Heck are Pilgrim Butterflies?!

Well it doesn’t say anything, it’s hard to give this one a title. Oh well, it’s the DRAGON SLAYER ARMOUR, A.K.A Ornstein+Havel Combined with perma-rage. How come nobody talks about this boss? He looks flipp'n wicked and his BGM is impressive! I can’t believe it’s actually just a suit of armor controlled by those flying brown things. Those were called pilgrim butterflies. Er.. What are they? Really, what are they? Why would anyone call them butterflies? They look like leafy seadragons with peanut heads. Why are they fluttering outside the Grand Archives? Are they summoned by the Londor Pilgrims? AAAUUUGHHHH! This boss raises more questions! Either its lore’s fragmented, or I’m not looking hard enough.
