Aww, That’s Apples Mate…

…I could do this all day. No seriously, I did. I got stuck with getting the colors to look right. After all the hodgepodge I even forgot to add his scar. Now I remember why I don’t render fan arts more often. Ugh, no BG, weird-*ss scaling on the weapon and got the hat all wrong too, dammit!

Nitpicking aside, I did enjoy drawing this little piece. It got me out of my comfort zone. I didn’t know I could draw something else other than my usual stuff. Why did I pick The Sniper? I hardly play the class except on the castle map with bows and arrows… Oh, right! Heck Yeah! it’s Camper van Helsing! Er, without the garlic.

Why didn’t I simply use an Ink Dropper Tool to sample colors? It’s because, I’m trying to visualize color from memory. I did a look at a few references, but just a quick glimpse.
